CARRARA MARBLE. There are many varieties of Carrara marble, from the Blanc Carrara used by Miquel Angel to sculpt the "David", to the veined ones called VENATOS which are the ones we use in our case to make the TEIA's feet. This choice is to give the piece more character and interest. Dark gray veins are scattered on its surface on a background of a lighter white-gray color. We especially choose the slabs to use and they are polished by hand.
