EUROPEAN OAK . It is a high density wood that goes from a yellowish brown tone to lighter colors. In the Iberian Peninsula there is a lot of distribution of this species as it is very easy to regrow. It has high resistance to moisture and has been used extensively in the construction of furniture as well as in the cooperage. The finish of the piece is only polished and a light layer of water-varnish so as not to lose its original appearance.
